Brief Description:

FAA MOSAIC is a new rule from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) called the Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification, which significantly expands sport pilot privileges and the types of aircraft that can be classified as Light-Sport Aircraft (LSA). Key changes include allowing four-seat aircraft, expanded operating limitations (e.g., night flying), and new aircraft categories like electric and eVTOLs, with the goal of making recreational flying safer, more accessible, and less restrictive.
Will Strieder, chief instructor of Hub City Aviation, will discuss these exciting new changes.
