Declaring an emergency or PAN seems to be taboo among pilots.Declaration of PAN or Emergency is often not used due to pilot ego. Declaration of PAN or Emergency is often not used due to pilot ego. This seminar will discuss a real life scenario including the outcome and the use of the ASRS, NASA reporting system. Come learn what PAN means, how and why you should use it to help promote safety culture, and how human factors play into everything too!
