Title:
October Topic of the Month - Human Performance
Topic:
Safer Flight By Understanding Human Performance Capabilities and Limitations
Speaker(s):
Jay Seward, FAASTeam Representative
Brief Description:
The safety chain in only as strong as its weakest link. Sometimes that weak link might be you. Virtually every pilot knows what the IMSAFE checklist says, but do they all know what it means? What are the safety impacting details in each of those six letters? What can you do to strengthen your "link" in the chain, and what factors might make you weaker when you need to be at your best in the cockpit? Those are the subjects of this interactive discussion. Eat dinner while you learn safer practices. What a great use of your time! Let's all Fly Safe!
