Brief Description:
Sometimes non-towered operations feel like the Wild West. That can be tough enough on a sunny day with the flexibility of VFR. When you’re departing IFR in visual conditions, it’s even tougher. The question is: How much flexibility do you have before you’re tucked safely into ATC’s warm embrace?
We will be discussing different course of action through input all of the attendees. Through our discussion you will learn that scenarios can be handled differently. This meeting will be led by Russ Kuhlen, Certified FIight Instructor, Retired Airline Captain and FAA Safety Representative who will answer many of your questions.
