Speaker(s):
Larry Martin
Brief Description:

"It’s Only Wausau To Wautoma"  Actual IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions) experience is essential to confidence in the clouds. That’s why any instrument instructor worth the ticket will do what they can to get actual IMC experience for their students. But when that experience includes an icing emergency, what’s the safest way to prevent an instructional flight from turning into a tragedy?  A lively discussion after viewing the video.

In addition, we will be discussing the FAA "Topic of the Month" - "Safety wire".  This presentation will introduce or review the purpose,  principles and need for proper safety wiring.  As pilot/owners it does fall within our preventive maintenance privileges, and will highlight the importance as well as techniques of  safetying.
