Topics include:
• Maj. Gen. John Barry (USAF, Ret.) who served on the Columbia STS-107 Accident Investigation Board. General Barry will speak on the reasons and causes for the accident itself, and the lessons and teachings of the accident as applied to corporate and charter turbine flight operations.
• Jennifer Pickerel, President of Aviation Personnel International, who will focus on the challenges our attendees face in the sourcing, recruitment, training and management of maintenance technicians.
• A panel discussion of Integrating AI Into Today’s Flight Operations, including James Johnson (Sr. Manager, Flight Technical Services, Honeywell) and Bill Orr (Sr. Manager Technical Services, Gulfstream Aerospace).
• A look at the safety program and processes at major fractional operator Flexjet, with an emphasis on what large-scale companies, with operations much like that of smaller corporate and charter departments, are doing with their safety programs that can be a model for our attendees.
