Brief Description:

The WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program enhances flight safety by providing continuous training for general aviation pilots. This seminar will cover the program's goals, address accident causal factors, and promote ongoing proficiency, similar to recurrent training for professional and military aviators. Participants will learn how to use WINGS to meet the flight review requirements of FAR 61.56, ensuring compliance while maintaining a higher level of skill and proficiency. We will outline the Basic WINGS requirements, including Knowledge Topics 1, 2, and 3, and suggest flight activities at regular intervals for maximum effectiveness. Additionally, we will provide a guide on navigating FAASafety.gov to track progress, access courses, and manage completed training. This seminar will equip you with essential tools to integrate WINGS into your flight training for safer and more proficient flying.
