Title:
Alliance Airport Pilot/Controller Forum
Topic:
Let's Have a Two Way Conversation Between the Pilots and the Experts From the Alliance Tower.
Date and Time:
Thursday, January 23, 2025, starting at 12:00 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Heather Peet,
Brief Description:

As pilots we have learned a tremendous amount about procedures, communications, and compliance with Air Traffic Control. That's about as much as most pilots ever get. What if there was more?

The Pilot- Controller forum is the opportunity to have a face to face conversation with your local controller; your chance to ask those nagging questions, to express your concerns and to make recommendations.

Don't pass up this opportunity to interface with ATC and other pilots of your community. ATC wants to hear from you to make the NAS airspace more SAFE and efficient.

Dallas Fort Worth Tracon and Alliance tower are offering an opportunity for Airmen to meet for a robust conversation.  Facility leadership has observed an increase in conflicts between IFR & VFR aircraft in the vicinity of WIGZU (FAF for ILS Rwy 16L).  This conversation will allow airmen to raise awareness regarding potential conflicts to aircraft operating just North of (AFW) Class Delta airspace. All other questions are welcomed concerning your issues from the pilot community with the surrounding airspace.
