Title:
KMIC Tower Tour for Instrument Rated and Instrument Students
Topic:
See the view from the Tower and get your questions answered you've always wondered.
Date and Time:
Saturday, February 11, 2023, starting at 11:30 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Matt Olsen
Brief Description:

Break away on your Saturday morning to learn what happens up in the Tower.  Get your questions answered, learn some best practices to help you and the controllers, get a phone number (in a good way) and see the view.  Learn what your clearance strip looks like, they really do use grease pens, find out what they see (or don't) on radar, how to best request practice approaches, how to avoid "ready to copy" and so much more!

A supervisor will give us a brief overview and we will have a Q&A session.  We can also talk to the controllers as their workload permits.

Bring your questions or just join us for conversations and the view.

*No phones or photos allowed in the Tower*

*If you need to cancel or will be late please let Ambyr know ASAP, there will be a waiting list for someone to take your spot*

Prior to attending a safety seminar please review and abide by current CDC, state and local guidelines.

REQUEST FROM TOWER, IF YOU ARE SICK OR THINK YOU MIGHT BE SICK, PLEASE CANCEL - Thanks for understanding, we need to make sure the controllers stay healthy to keep us safe.
