Part Time Pilots—Full Time Mountains. What should you think about and how should you prepare when planning for the backcountry this year?
This seminar benefits from the River of No Return Mountain Flying Clinic (Challis ID, 1994) and the Wenatchee Mountain Flying Seminars (1994-2004).
Discussions will include technical reminders about airplane performance, density altitude, and runway effects. Be sure to bring your POH!
We will cover airmanship, being in tune with the terrain and loving your pitot instruments.
We will preach about flying with a local to get what doesn't come from a book.
