Brief Description:

This 1 hour presentation will focus on the different kinds of weather phenomena that impact aviation operations, especially in relation to the Great Lakes, and how the National Weather Service prepares terminal aerodrome forecasts. 

Rachel Cobb is Meteorologist and Observing Program Leader for the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana. She has been with the agency for 20 years, and in that that time, has worked on everything from fire weather across the Pacific Northwest to hurricanes in South Carolina. Rachel graduated from Valparaiso University with a BS in meteorology and has an MBA from Washington State University.
