Speaker(s):

Brief Description:

What can we learn from an accident study? We will show you that pilots keep making the same mistakes year after year. Are you sure that this couldn't happen to you?

Jurg Grossenbacher, FAAST Program Manager from the Milwaukee FSDO will brief the pilots on the recent spike in accidents, incidents and pilot deviations due to the Non Standard Operating Procedures, Complacency in Knowledge, Stick Skills due to lack of recurrent training. We will talk about the causal factors:

1. Lack of knowledge

2. Non Standard Operating Procedures

3. Non-Recurrent Training

We will discuss how you can stay safe this year and still enjoy flying to the fullest.
