Brief Description:
Approximately two hours of pre-work and an eight hour ground school covering all the topics you need to safely plan and execute a flight into mountainous terrain. Day two is optional with a 4-6 hour flight (depends on aircraft) into the southern Rocky Mountains to apply the ground school lessons. Day three is an optional "roll your own" flight into the Rocky Mountains.
