Brief Description:

If you like using grass strips for your recreational flying, this workshop is a must!

Every year Wisconsin pilots experience accidents due to grass field operations, that for the most part are due to pilot error, and we want to stop future accidents. The same team that brought you the Tailwheel safety seminars have developed this presentation and we are going to share these insights on Unimproved Surface Operations with you.

In this seminar we will discuss:

1. Preflight planning

2. Walking the grass strip at Hartford to point out any hidden dangers

3 Safety considerations that you might not have thought of will be discussed  through a scenario based flight

from HXF Airport, Hartford  to 7P5 Piso Airport, in Suring, Wisconsin.

4. Post flight Inspection
