Title:
VMC Clubs - Being Mr Nice Guy Can Be Deadly
Topic:
Bring Pilots Together to Discuss Real World Issues - Situations that No One Talked about in Training
Date and Time:
Monday, December 8, 2025, starting at 19:00 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Christopher Hope - Master CFII
Brief Description:

We pilots are often ready to say “yes” when asked. We like the feeling that other people think we are super capable, and so we often jump in to help out, especially when the request does not seem that difficult.

But sometimes, that little request turns out to be a bit bigger, and a bit bigger, and before it is all over, six people are dead.

This month’s discussion is a sober one, but I think it is important.  And I think that it is particularly important for flight instructors.
