"Rochester CFI Open Forum"
Wednesday, March 21, 2018 18:30 Eastern Daylight Time

Located at:
Rochester Flight Standard District Office
1 Airport Way Suite 110
US Airports Bldg 1st Floor
Rochester, NY 14624

Description:

We want to discuss best practices for teaching Airworthiness Awareness in the hope that students will learn how to avoid system/component failures. We’ll also talk about best practices for systems operation and how to prepare students to deal with an engine failure in flight. This is a forum so audience participation is essential to success.  We really need to hear from you so be sure to join in the discussion.

It is also an opportunity to help mold safer pilots.  As you know, safer pilots will improve the accident rate. Perhaps the most important opportunity is that this might be the only chance that CFIs will have the opportunity to interact with those pilots that shun recurrent training.  Join us in the discussion of this important topic.

As an additional topic we will discuss answers to a typical Practical Oral Evaluation, solicit how you as an instructor instruct, and mistakes being made by our applicants.

Flight Instructors, Ground Instructors, Designated Pilot Examiners, and Instructors in training are welcome and encouraged to attend. Join your flight instructor colleagues and take an active role in improving safety in flight training!  Click on the link below and register TODAY!
