CFI Workshop Agenda: May 22, 2020

7:15 - 7:45   Registration at Gateway Technical College Horizon Center

7:45 - 8:10   Introduction Greg Patchel, Levi Eastlick, and Jurg Grossenbacher

      8:10 - 8:50   Designated Pilot Examiner will enlighten you on the Do's and

                           Don'ts' during your check rides. He will be open for your questions.

      9:00 - 9:50   Karen Kalishek, FAA Safety Rep. CFI will address  issues that keep

                           retired CFI's from returning back to active status, she will get you

                           started again on the road to teaching!

   10:00 - 10:50  Don Stacy Transportation Security Inspector (TSA) will address the

                           requirements and record keeping for todays CFI.

    11:00 - 11:50  Levi Eastlick, Wisconsin Bureau of Aeronautics  will speak on the

                             FAA WINGS Program and how itt can benefit you and the student. 

    11:50-12:30   Lunch Break

    12:30-13:15   Jurg Grossenbacher FAA Safety Program Manager, Accident and

                           Incidents, due to lack of proficiency and knowledge   

     13:20-14:00   Jim Cotter Sr., FAA Safety Representative, CFI,  

                            will address professionalism for Flight Instructor success.
