Brief Description:

This drone seminar is a two part seminar addressing both the hobbyist and commercial applications. The speakers are not only a CFR Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilots, they are drone educators as well as, pilots of aircraft. All of our speakers serve the drone community as a Volunteer FAA Safety Representatives for the Milwaukee FAA:

6:00- 8:00 PM Hobbyist Drone Seminar located in room 206

6:00-8:00 PM Commercial Drone Seminar in room 207

For the Hobbyist:

Craig Czerwinski will speak on "How to Operate a Drone in a Safe, Smart and Legal Way in Today's Airspace." 

Tim Tyre will speak on why you shouldn't fly drones just anywhere that you please. Flying a drone over an accident scene, a fire, a football game. These are just a few examples that we will be discussed in detail

For the Commercial Drone Operators:

PJ Kirkpatrick will discuss "Drone Airspace Management." PJ will speak about his professional drone experiences in "Search and Rescue Missions, 3D Mapping, Drone Security, and Law Enforcement." He will discuss the safety procedures at project sites that he implements covering preflight in detail.

Peter Menet will speak on using drones during a fire mission. Peter has been heavily involved the Department of Interior and the Fire Management in remote areas of the USA. We will discuss the role that drones play in managing large forest fires.

FAA FSDO FAASTeam Program Manager,Jurg Grossenbacher will also be present to introduce the speaker and the program as well as answer questions.
