We would like to thank the Flying W staff for the use of the facility.

Intercept procedures will be covered as they relate to the airspace in the northeast corridor  Every pilot should know these procedures.

Collision Avoidance is a critical responsibility for all pilots.  During primary training pilots are well-informed too employ collision avoidance scanning techniques outside the cockpit.  However, little formal instruction is given on the proper procedures to visually identify a potential collision threat.  This seminar is intended for pilots conducting flight operations in local congested airspace.  Maintaining situational awareness is vital to the safety of flight.  This is an important briefing that presents a unique opportunity to interact with local military controllers.
