Title:
Aircraft Performance and In Flight Emergencies
Topic:
1. Calculating Aircraft Performance 2. In Flight Emergencies
Brief Description:
Half of flight safety is avoiding trouble while the other half is dealing effectively with it. This seminar will cover both aspects. Every flight deserves good preparation. How our aircraft will perform under the conditions, loads, airports to be used and other details must be figured out and understood. Anticipating and responding to equipment failures, mistakes in planning or incorrect pilot performance go hand-in-hand with performance calculations to assure a safe flight. We will explore both these sides of pre-flight planning in two one-hour sessions separated by a 15-minute coffee break.
