Brief Description:

14 CFR part 91, section 91.403, places primary responsibility on the owner or operator for
maintaining an aircraft in an airworthy condition.The General Aviation Joint Steering Committee (GAJSC) feels pilots often have an incomplete awareness of their responsibilities for the airworthiness of the aircraft they fly. This presentation explains the importance of proper return to service determination and documentation.
