Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):

Advisory Circular 90-66B outlining recommended traffic pattern procedures and communications for non-towered airports was updated in March of 2018. This event will provide a comprehensive review of those procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

The presentation will cover such items as the recommended pattern entry and exiting procedures, proper radio communications, right-away rules, and regulatory requirements. While some of the topics in the Advisory Circular (AC) may seem new to many of us, the original AC was released in the early 90’s. This event will be a good review for pilots of all types of aircraft, and also touch on VFR and IFR operations.

Andy Miller, AOPA Great Lakes Ambassador will also provide an overview of AOPA membership benefits.
