How to Cope With Aircraft Breakdowns Away from Home Base
Date and Time:
Thursday, September 5, 2019, starting at 19:00 Pacific Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Mike Busch - A&P/IA
Brief Description:

See instructions below for security procedures for all attendees.

Mike Busch A&P/IA discusses how to deal with every aircraft owner's worst nightmare: a mechanical breakdown that leaves your airplane stranded away from home base. Using real-life case studies of actual breakdown events, Mike illustrates the right and wrong way to deal with such situations and ensure the best possible outcome.

Mike Busch is arguably the best-known A&P/IA in general aviation. He writes the monthly "Savvy Maintenance" column in AOPA PILOT, hosts free monthly EAA-sponsored maintenance webinars, has written two books about maintenance and is working on two more. Mike was honored as "National Aviation Maintenance Technician of the Year" for 2008, has been a pilot and aircraft owner for over 50 years with 8,000 hours logged, and is a CFII. He’s CEO of Savvy Aviation, Inc. and co-founder of AVweb.

There will be time for Q&A after the presentation.
