Brief Description:
This meeting will be a combined Louisville IMC Club and Third Thursday FAASTeam meeting. This meeting is all about putting pilots and controllers together in the same room to get a glimpse of what it is like on the other side. The intent is to develop a better understanding of each other's role in the air traffic system and answer those burning questions that you would never ask on the frequency.
Best operating practices, preventing pilot deviations, and how to work within the SDF airspace will be among the topics discussed. Come find out why that request may have been denied. Join us to understand how to ask the right questions, reducing both your's and the controller's workload, and how to work within the system.

Please Note: Since this is the FAASTeam Annual Pilot / Controller Forum, and in order to have as many pilots attend as possible we will not have our Third Thursday meeting this month. This Forum will combine the regular IMC Club and Third Thursday meetings into one meeting on August 23rd!
We ask that all pilots, including those with UAS pilot certificate attend this important forum! Here you can ask questions and interact with local Air Traffic Controllers. This meeting is open to all and will help enhance your knowledge of operating safely in controlled airspace both locally and throughout the NAS.
