There are two parts to this session.  First is a discussion (from the Cessna C172 POH) of what steps a VFR pilot should follow to escape inadvertant entry into clouds (IMC).  Second is a discussion of using carburetor heat in a C172, how and when to use it, and conditions that may be favorable to the formation of carb ice.
