Title:
GAJSC May 2019 Topic of the Month - Approval for Return to Service
Topic:
Understanding An Approval for Return to Service Endorsement
Date and Time:
Saturday, May 25, 2019, starting at 10:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Gary Burleson, FAAST Team Representative
Brief Description:

This seminar will review what's required for legally returning an aircraft to service.

The owner/operator (pilot) is responsible to ensure that any maintenance, preventative maintenance, alteration or overhaul of the aircraft must be entered into the aircraft log books prior to approval for return to service.

If you fly without an approval for return to service and something happens, you will get to meet the NTSB Administrative Law Judge. The meeting will be all you. The mechanic won't be there.

Find out what's required to make sure the aircraft is legally returned to service.

This seminar will be followed by another seminar concerning Loss of Control Risk Management and a discussion about the EAA IMC Club.
