Title:
Human Factors in Aviation Safety
Topic:
Frank Tullo will be discussing the role of pilots in error management
Brief Description:
See instructions below for new security procedures for all attendees.
Join us with Frank Tullo, a 33-year veteran of Continental Airlines. He is a teacher at California State University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He will speak on the role of pilots in error management. Too often training and performance is evaluated based on pilot errors with a traditional "blame and train" method. But performance and safety can be enhanced by training pilots to detect and correct their own errors; both with professional crews and single pilot operations
There will be time for Q&A after the presentation.
