Experience

 Chief Flight Instructor, Owner, Ace Aerobatic School, Sewanee, Tennessee, 2007{present. Ace Aerobatic School is a small-town ight school with an international reputation. Students range from student pilots to airline and ight test pilots from all over the world. Catherine has specialized in aerobatic, spin and upset training since 2003. Using her own resources, she has lmed her Aerobat with tufting and funnels to make the complex accessible and interesting for students and seminar attendees. With a strong technical background, Catherine is able to instruct students with any background but is especially grati ed to help those who have never felt com-fortable with stalls and merely want to feel safer in everyday ying.

Lead Representative, FAA Safety Team, Nashville FSDO. Catherine enjoys sharing her safety message by making dicult aerodynamic principles make sense through the videos she lms in ight. She enjoys working with the FAA Safety Team within the state of Tennessee and well beyond. Aviation Safety Speaker, 2003{present. Catherine is a highly-sought presenter for FAA, AOPA, EAA, the Ninety-Nines and WIAI.

FAA Designated Pilot Examiner. The CFI certi cate is the most important the FAA issues. With an extensive background as a ight instructor and college professor, she evaluates pilot candidates and enjoys the relationship and inuence she develops with local ight instructors.
