SUN-n-FUN 2019 Forum - Project Preflight - Wednesday April 3
Topic:
Test Your Aircraft Preflight Prowess! See What You Might Be Missing!
Date and Time:
Wednesday, April 3, 2019, starting at 09:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
(None)
Brief Description:

Project Preflight is a pilot favorite at Sun-n-Fun each year!  Come and enter the FREE competition to see how many airworthiness faults you can spot on a real-live General Aviation training airplane in just a few minutes.  More importantly, learn what you may be missing when you conduct your own preflight, especially if you do not own the aircraft you fly!  This activity runs 0900 to 1500 daily.

This is a live, daily, outdoor event.  Free to participate!  WINGS credit available!

Location of Seminar:
FAA Orlando Field Office (FAA Safety Center)
4425 Sun-N-Fun Road

Lakeland, FL 33811
Directions to Venue:

The FAA Orlando Field Office (shown as "FAA Production Studios" in the map link, better known as the FAA Safety Center, and NOT to be confused with Central Florida Aerospace Academy, or CFAA) is centrally located on the Sun-n-Fun grounds at the corner of Laird Drive and Sun-N-Fun Road.  From the admission gate area, walk east (to the right) about 0.1 mi along James C. Ray Rd. (ex-Doolittle Rd.) to Sun-N-Fun Rd, then turn left (north) and proceed about 0.2 mi along Sun-N-Fun Rd.  The FAA facility is the last permanent structure on your left, and is distinguished by a rooftop deck.  The contest aircraft is just outside the building, along the northeast corner, where Laird Drive and Sun-N-Fun Rd intersect.  Entrance to our other forums is on the west side of the building.  Pre-registration for all forums that you wish to attend is highly encouraged!
