Brief Description:

The Seattle Terminal Airspace blends light and heavy aircraft operations, making wake turbulence avoidance procedures critical to safety. We will explore common scenarios during en route operations and during operations at airports with and without operating control tower. Some of those scenarios are applicable to Snohomish County Airport (Paine Field).

From I-5, take the 128th St (exit #186), go west on 128th St for approx. 2 miles to Hwy 99, 128th St SW becomes Airport Rd, stay on Airport Rd to 100th St SW. Turn Left onto 100th St SW and turn Left at stop sign and continue on to parking lot just outside the Central Ramp and Hangar C51. Ring bell to open gate.
