Date and Time:
Sunday, November 18, 2018, starting at 10:00 Pacific Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Ron Berinstein -CFII & Aerobatic & FAA Wings Master Pilot
Brief Description:

Donuts and/or Chips , GA Hot News & More, plus our very popular feature that asks, "WHY?," and addresses an intriguing timely event/accident.

At 10 am HANGAR TALK begins!  A Casual Round Table discussion (often motivated by videos) wherein your stories, questions, opinions and comments will serve as the tasty appetizers on our checklist.

Today's "Back to School" feature will describe the tool developed for, and used as a GO/NO GO decision maker, for Helicopter Emergency Medical Services responders.  Anyone can take advantage of this "secret" wx/flight planning tool, but few know anything about it.  Perfect for anyone (aircraft to hot air balloon) flying 5000' and below in between weather reporting stations! Can provide Tons of Info about your intended flight FAST.  We'll check it out!

Hopefully, everyone will discover something that will improve their own pilot skills and knowledge bank. Seminar is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Designed to emulate the old days when there really was hangar talk, donuts & coffee. Casual, and everyone is encouraged to participate.

Note:
Pilot airspace deviations continue to be a major risk in the national airspace system.  To reduce the chance that you might be involved in an airspace deviation incident, you are highly encouraged to take an on-line learning center course on http://www.faasafety.gov/.  Or search the learning library for associated guidance on airspace incursions.  Remember, safe and prudent airmen have superior situational awareness, and have a plan to keep it that way.

Thanks!  A message from your local FAASTeam.
