Brief Description:

Currency requirements, weather, airspace review, chart review, minimums and alternates, ATC procedures, different types of approaches, IFR navigation, departure procedures, holding patterns, diversions, lost communication, arrival routes, flight planning, FAA regulations and emergencies.

Michael Church is recognized as a Master Instructor and Master Aerobatic Instructor by the National Association of Flight Instructors. He has also been honored by the FAA as a National Safety Counselor. Michael has been flying for over 53 years and has been teaching flying and aerobatics for more than 51 years and has accumulated more than 14,000 hours.

This safety seminar is hosted by The Orange County 99s, the International Organization of Women Pilots that promotes advancement of aviation through education, scholarships and mutual support.

Registration starts at 8:30 am and class will conclude at 3:30 pm.
