Please welcome Ms. Catherine Cavagnaro, ATP/CFI and proprietor of Ace Aerobatic School. Join your fellow airmen as Catherine presents emergencies that might require flying at the edge of the envelope and recommended recovery procedures. The seminar will feature videos that help explain the associated aerodynamics.

Please welcome Ms. Catherine Cavagnaro, Professor of Mathematics at the University of the South, located in Sewanee Tennessee. She has served as a spin demonstration pilot for the University of TN Space Institute, and participated in their research and flight testing for icing in flight. She is also a designated pilot examiner for the Nashville FSDO.
Catherine enjoys finding ways to explain difficult aviation concepts in a fun and entertaining way. She films inflight videos to make this happen in her presentations. Her aviation articles have appeared in AOPA's "PILOT" and "Flight Training" magazines as well as "Aviation Safety Magazine" and others. Catherine is the 2018 FAA Safety Representative of the Year as well as a 2018 inductee into the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame.
