Title:
How Drones Integrate into the National Airspace System
Topic:
Anything and Everything you want to know about Drones form an Industry Leader
Date and Time:
Wednesday, August 15, 2018, starting at 19:00 Pacific Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
George Fahmy
Brief Description:

Kespry, an industry leader in drones and drone technology provides a complete drone-based solution that's easy enough to use for anyone in order to survey and inspect more accurately, easily, and safely.

George Fahmy, Technical Project Manager for Kespry will discuss how their specific system works, who can benefit most from drone technology, and how their system is being integrated into the national airspace system. Specifically, how safely integrating into the airspace system is something Kespry has been working on for a long time and George will share their experience and learnings.

George will then open it up for discussion with a Q&A session for pilots who want to know more about drones, either from a technical standpoint or from a more general standpoint. This will be your chance to ask and learn anything you wanted to know about drones from an authority in the field.

George is currently the Technical Product Manager at Kespry, one of the leading commercial drone companies. They are pioneering aerial data and cloud services. He was part of the prototyping and systems integration teams as well as managed the Test Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to ensure that our products are of the best quality for users. George also drive the drone data analytics and use it to optimize design decisions and improve overall performance.

George has several hobbies including remote control airplane building/flying, as well as small remote control drones for aerial videography, and has more than 10 years experience with building and flying remote control airplanes/helicopters/drones.

As a certified Private Pilot, George has experience with aircraft avionics systems, and flight control systems as well and aircraft and airport operations for general aviation. To see progress of George’s airplane, checkout his website for detailed info about the build. www.N890GF.com
