In this presentation we'll address recommendations from the General Aviation Joint Steering Committee -- a government/industry group that analyzes GA accidents and incidents. The Committee feels that improved pilot knowledge of and proficiency in flying at best glide speed and configuration will increase the chances of successful forced landing.
