Title:
Managing Your Aircraft After Maintenance
Topic:
What Pilots Expect and What Mechanics Know
Date and Time:
Saturday, June 23, 2018, starting at 10:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Eddie Shields
Brief Description:

As a pilot, you have the opportunity to fly the least and maybe even the most sophisticated flying equipment available.  Each aircraft will have a unique something that requires the owner or operator to be more vigilant with regards to maintenance, especially flight after maintenance is performed.  Every time you rent an aircraft or fly your own aircraft, you need to double check that it is airworthy.  Airworthiness before a flight begins with trackable maintenance and a thorough preflight. If the aircraft you are about to fly is new to you or even one you rent on a regular basis, double check the maintenance records and aircraft prior to flight with your maintenance department.

Remember you are the final authority, not the person behind the reception desk that gave you the keys.
