Title:
Bloomsburg Airport Fly-In
Topic:
Survival: Stayin’ Alive!
Speaker(s):
John Sibole, FAASTeam Program Manager
Brief Description:
Of 44 aircraft accidents in the Harrisburg District over six years, everyone onboard survived in 38 of them! Many of these occurred off-airport, and a few were in very remote areas. So although we don’t plan to crash, we should have a plan for surviving afterward. This includes equipping the aircraft with good restraint systems—as well as keeping first aid and survival equipment onboard. Come and participate in this seminar as we share ideas for Stayin' Alive!
