This briefing will discuss the current airspace proposal in the 29 Palms area. It will also identify the steps the Marine Corps has taken and the way forward to secure the required SUA to meet the Marine Corps training mission. The briefing will also address the safety issues surrounding GA flying around military special Use Airspace. How to safely fly in a MOA.

The different types of SUA’s will be addressed as well has the history of mid-airs and the military, future outreach efforts that the Marine Corps will do to insure the public is kept aware of aviation mission in the area as well as the latest update on the SUA proposal.
