Date and Time:
Tuesday, May 1, 2018, starting at 18:30 Alaskan Daylight Time Download Calendar File

Brief Description:

Identifying and having the discipline to identify a no go or hazardous situation makes the difference between successful seaplane flights and disastrous ones. Weather, checklists, pilot skills levels, aircraft capabilities and having pre-identified hard stops are the key to flying seaplanes safely.

Informative perspective on attitudes that help identify and correct corrosion issues in aircraft (especially seaplanes). Gain a better understanding of the sources and contributing factors at the root of corrosion, this will help them develop successful attitudes in minimizing the effects and cost of maintaining airworthy aircraft.

Hands-on demonstration of what corrosion does to your aircraft.

What to expect during a water rescue should you get into a situation.
