Brief Description:

This seminar is designed for those who have previously completed a mountain flying course.  It will reviews the key elements that pilots need to know for flying around and over mountainous terrain.  The topics covered include mountain flying best practices, mountain weather, route planning (including using little-known Internet tools), performance and takeoff considerations, enroute considerations, survival considerations, and the use of technology.

Directions to Venue:

Seminar in Bay Hangar behind Bode FBO and maintenance hangar.

Driving:  Take I-40 or Paseo del Norte west to Atrisco Vista Blvd.  Follow Airport Signs to main parking lot.

Flying:  To tie down, bring ropes and park on the north ramp.  For closer parking, use main Bode ramp.
