Brief Description:

The event starts with a fly-in breakfast.  A briefing on local and regional maintenance concerns and the Altus AFB Safety Office will discuss local airspace issues.  Then the Altus AFB Safety Office will provide transportation to the Air Force Base to give tours of the C-17 cargo aircraft and the KC-135 air refueler.

Directions to Venue:

Take Hwy 283 North from Altus, OK.  The Southwest technology center is located just south of the  Altus Quartz Mountain Airport FBO.  The event will be held in the Southwest Technology hangar.  Enter through the front door.  

Or if you fly-in:  Park on the ramp and it is the hangar just south of the FBO.

Thank you to Southwest Technology Center, Altus AFB Safety Office, and Altus/Quartz Mtn Airport.

There will be a breakfast starting at 0730 to benefit the Southwest Technology students for regional and national competitions.

There will be guided tours of the C-17 and KC-135.  A bus will be at the Southwest Technology Center to transport interested individuals  to to the tour.  If available tours of full motion simulators may be available.
