Brief Description:

This joint MACA presentation will improve pilot awareness of military operations in northwest Florida and SUA (Special Use Air Space).  Military airspace managers will coordinate the presentations among several sponsoring organizations - Eglin/Hurlburt AFB, Tyndall AFB, and Pensacola NAS. A Q&A session will be offered between each airspace presentation.

The mission of our armed forces is to defend the United States of America. GA pilot and crew training is essential to the success of that mission. This seminar will describe the Special Use Air Space (SUA) proximate to Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, Tyndall AFB, Pensacola NAS, Whiting NAS and Ft. Rucker, AL. This airspace includes Alert Areas, MOA's, Restricted Areas, Part 93 Air Space, Warning Areas , Class "C" and "D" Air Space. In addition the New operational requirements for the Destin TWR will be discussed in detail,

Lynx (S) at Destin Airport (KDTS) will provide transportation from the FBO to the Community Center for those flying in to the event.
