This seminar will cover FAR 61.56 and 61.57. It will cover System Safety, Flight Review, and the faasafety.gov Web site in regards to the WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program.

We will discuss the importance of the flight review and the weight that it carries in general aviation safety. The topic will be presented by your local flight instructor and the FAA - FAASTeam Program Manager.

 This seminar will address eveyone regardless of the certificate or experience, so please, take some time out of your busy life and join us!

Part 1: It will be shown how System Safety is an integral part of the FAA document, "Conducting an Effective Flight Review." The requirements of FAR 61.56 will be discussed and the Appendices to the above document will be reviewed. Part 2: This part will familiarize the pilot with registering on faasafety.gov and participating in the WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program. It will be shown how to navigate through the faasafety Web site, and how to use a variety of resources for help.
