This months topic will cover briefing IFR approaches. We will aslo have our usual scenario based discussion on various IFR topics. Bring a friend and come out for some great round table discussion about IFR topics and flying.

Directions to Venue:
Westmoreland County Special Operations Center. It's located at the corner of RT 981 and Kilo Lane. The conference room is located to the right as you face the building. We will have signs posted on the door.
If you are flying in to KLBE, utilize the ramp at VeeNeal Avaition. Be sure to let them know that you are there for the purpose of the meeting in order to get the ramp fee waived.

Our intent is to create a community of pilots in order to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety and build proficiency in instrument flying. Latrobe IFR Flyers offer a monthly meeting in which pilots can network and share knowledge and experiences.
Do you need to bring anything?
First, bring your thoughts or story and be willing to share them with the group. This meeting is very interactive. Participation by the group is a key element to the Latrobe IFR Flyer meeting. Others have found it helpful to bring along a copy of their flight manual, GPS manual and charts. If you navigate with an iPad, bring it along.
Who can attend?
You don’t need an instrument rating to attend. This meeting is open to all current, non-current, and future instrument and non-instrument pilots.
