The speaker, Tom Gilmore, is a 107 rated commercial drone pilot that has been flying his DJI Mavic Pro and capturing some amazing photos that have been sold to local chariites. He hopes to increase the knowledge and awareness of local drone pilots with the FAA operating rules and regulations and provide some tips on using the drone to take photos and video footage. Tom is also a CFI and a high time commercial pilot, provides flight and ground instruction with an emphasis on instrument instruction. He has done a lot of simulator instruction and written articles and a book on instrument flight training.
In addition we will discuss the Wings program and how it helps all pilots.
