Brief Description:

We are often taught that the base to final turn is the highest risk area for a stall/spin accident, but is this really true?  Pete McElvain (FAASTeam Representative, former U.S. Air Force pilot and current Corporate Pilot/ATP/CFII/MEII) has prepared a presentation entitled "Departure Stalls: I don’t mean to be critical (AoA)" in which he will look at loss of control accidents on the other end of the runway.  Wings credit will be awarded to attendees.
