FAASTeam CFI Forum Open to All Pilots

Responding to System/Component Failure and Using Enhanced Vision Systems

Brief Description:

Our first topic is Responding to System/Component Failure where we will discuss instruction that prepares pilots to make appropriate responses to system or component failures.  Both maintenance and operational considerations will be discussed.  We will discuss the determination of airworthiness and also preparation for when the unexpected happens: how we deal with forced landings and the speeds and configurations for emergency operations.

Our second topic is Using Enhanced Vision Systems where we will discuss the variety of enhanced and synthetic vision systems.  We will discuss the safety improvement possibilities of these systems and the additional training needed to achieve these improvements and to understand limitations.

Park next to the Wings of Carolina Hangar. For Fly-In participants, parking is available on ramp in front of Wings of Carolina Flying Club hangar.
