Title:
Revision /Additional Seating Added /Monthly Meeting of the Columbus Chapter EAA IMC
Topic:
Reviewing, interpreting, and executing an instrument approach plate review for the destination & alternate airport.
Date and Time:
Wednesday, January 24, 2018, starting at 19:00 Eastern Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Josh Fisher, CFII
Brief Description:

Pilots are no doubt familiar with the expression: “The devil is in the details,” meaning that some elements of a larger task, if ignored, missed, or dismissed, can lead to problems down the road. Arguably, this expression is manifestly applicable to reviewing, interpreting, and executing an instrument approach plate review for your destination airport, including all of its important details. Josh Fisher, CFII with The Ohio State University Flight Education Department, will present best methods for reviewing approach plates that include how to prepare yourself and your airplane for landing, holding, or going missed.
