Topic:

Speaker(s):
Richard Jeffs
Brief Description:
With the rapidly increasing cost of flying, particularly aircraft maintenance, what can you as a pilot do to reduce these costs? The FAA defines preventive maintenance as "…simple or minor preservation operations and the replacement of small standard parts not involving complex assembly operations." According to 14 CFR 43 Appendix A, pilots can accomplish the many items listed under "Preventive Maintenance" on their aircraft.
Attend this informative safety meeting and learn what you can do to reduce the cost of flying. Spend more money on fuel with the money you save on maintenance!
