Brief Description:

Come learn about ADS-B / NextGen Aviation and how you can prepare yourself and your aircraft to take advantage of this important enhancement to our national airspace that is now operational.  This is avionics news you can use from experts.   Learn what’s behind ADS-B – why it matters and how it works.

You’ll learn about ADS-B benefits.  The session addresses various myths about the topic, and explains how ADS-B works.  A major focus of the session is coverage of practical things you should consider as you think about how to equip your aircraft to comply with the FAA Mandate for ADS-B equipage.

January 1, 2020, will be here before you know it!   Experts from Carpenter Avionics, a multi-year, national award-winning avionics service center from Music City, will drive the presentation along with Nashville Flight Training.  This educational session will cover a broad array of types of equipment, brands, and more with a focus on what ADS-B means to you.  Demo systems allow hands-on experience.  The Q&A session will allow discussion of specific questions you may have regarding how to approach ADS-S for your specific aircraft.
